She is a student at the Department of IR, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. She has been active in the PACIS as a research assistant on several projects: Pacific Elevation (Grand Design of Indonesia’s Strategic Policy in the Pacific, the Lesson learned from the Implementation of the Korean MOGEF’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) Project in the West Java Province and Social Justice in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Albert Triwibowo
Expertise: Digital Diplomacy
He received his doctoral degree from University of Rostock, Germany, with the scholarship support from DAAD. He was also previously part of the Fellowship Program between Parahyangan Catholic University and TU Dortmund. His research focuses on politics and international relations, especially about digitalization in diplomacy and ASEAN regionalism. His recent publications include “The prospect and limitations of digital diplomacy: The case of Indonesia” (2023), and “ASEAN in global multilateral forums” in Jörn Dosch and Frederick Kliem (eds.), The Elgar Companion to ASEAN (2023).

Ratih Indraswari
Expertise: Public Diplomacy, ASEAN and South Korea
Ms. Ratih Indraswari is currently completing her doctoral degree at EMWA Woman University majoring political science and International Relations with support from HIET (Higher Education ASEAN Talents) Scholarship. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations and International Organizations from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, The Netherlands, She is a DIES DAAD Scholarship recipient for Management of Internationalization from Hannover University and Carl von Ossietzky Universität during her time as the Head of Cooperation, International Relations Office of Parahyangan University. She has been actively engaged in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Erasmus CBHE+ consortium.

Prof. Dra. Sukawarsini Djelantik, Ph.D
Expertise: Diplomacy, Terrorism
Dr. Sukawarsini Djelantik is a Professor of International Relations, Parahyangan Catholic University, in Bandung, Indonesia. She received a Ph.D. in International Relations and Diplomacy from Flinders University in Australia, Master of International Studies (MIntS) from The University of Sydney, Australia, and a B.A. from Padjadjaran University in Indonesia. Her research interests are international communication, traditional and non-traditional securities issues (terrorism, migration, gender). Her recent books are “Diplomacy in Information Era” (2022), Global War Against Covid-19 (2021), Diplomacy in Global Politics (Unpar Press, 2016), Asia-Pacific; Conflict, Cooperation and Inter-regional Cooperation (Yayasan Obor, 2015). She received research fellowship from the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies (RSPAS), The Australian University, Australia in 1999, and Fulbright Junior Research Fellowship at Georgetown University, Washington D.C, USA, in 2002

Mrs. Jessica Martha completed her Bachelor Degree at Parahyangan Catholic University and Master Degree at Padjajaran University. Her Master thesis entitles: The Roles of The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Preventing Diarrhea and Pneumonia in Indonesian’s Children (2008-2013). Her publications include Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Demokrasi terhadap Kesejahteraan: Teori dan Realita (Studi Kasus: Indonesia) dan Bhutan: Globalisasi, Demokrasi, dan Tantangan terhadap Kebahagiaan Masyarakat.

Marshell Adi Putra

Marshell Adi Putra finished his Bachelor Degree at Parahyangan Catholic University and Master Degree at Program Intercultural and International Communication di School of International Service, American University – Washington, D.C. He has strong interests on international issues in media and technology, social-culture, diplomacy and regional studies on Southeast Asia and East Asia.

Anggia Valerisha finished her Bachelor Degree and Master Degree at Parahyangan Catholic University. She actively involved in various research projects funded both by government and non-governmental organizations. Dr. Mangadar Situmorang
Expertise: Conflict resolution studies, Papua and greater autonomy
Mangadar SItumorang completed his doctoral degree at Curtin University, Perth, with dissertation entitled: International Humanitarian Intervention in Intrastate Conflicts (Giessen: Johannes-Hermann, 2009). In 2004, Mangadar joined in an internship di International Conflict Research Institute (INCORE), University of Ulster, London-Derry, Irlandia Utara, with support from the Chevening Awards, British Council. In 2010, he took his post-doctoral study at Asia Research Center, Murdoc University, Perth, with support from Endeavour Awards Australia. He is now active in Forum Akademisi untuk Papua Damai (Forum of Academics for Peaceful Papua).

Dr. I Nyoman Sudira

I Nyoman Sudira finished his doctoral degree at University of Helsinki, Finland. Among his publications are: “Indonesia’s Search for Democracy. Dr. Angguntari C. Sari
Expertise: Foreign Policy Analysis & International Democracy Promotion
Dr. Angguntari completed her Ph.D studies at Arizona State University. She has strong interest on the studies of securitization in a particular country, issues in Indonesian foreign policy, international relations theories and its application in Southeast Asia and the concept of grand strategy. She received funding for undertaking her research from various resources including the Henry Luce Foundation, the Southeast Asia Research Group, the School of Politics and Global Studies and Graduate Professional Student Association, Arizona State University, the American-Indonesian Cultural & Educational Foundation, School. She has published many articles in Journal of Contemporary Southeast Asia, Asian Journal of Comparative Politics, Thammasat Review.

Adrianus Harsawaskita
Expertise: Geopolitics, Indonesian Politics and Foreign Policy
Adrianus Harsawaskita finished his Bachelor Degree at University of Indonesia, and Master Degree at National University of Singapore (NUS). He is now writing his doctoral thesis about Indonesian Defense Diplomacy in the light of foreign policy analytical framework. He discloses the influences of actors,-who are not at the decision making table in the defense diplomacy.

Idil Syawfi

Idil Syawfi completed his Bachelor Degree at Parahyangan Catholic University and Master Degree at University of Indonesia. His publications include “Reformasi Militer dan Transformasi Komponen Pertahanan Indonesia” (co-writer with Andi Wdjajanto, Alexandra Retno Wulan, and Makmur Keliat, eds; Pacivis Universitas Indonesia-Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, 2011), “ASEAN Security Arrangement Level: Building Security Regime, Keeping Security Dilemma” (Jurnal PACIS September 2011), “Indonesia Military Reform: 2009-2014” (co-author with Andi Widjajanto, Makmur Keliat, Alexandra R. Putu Agung Nara Indra Prima
Expertise: Conflict and peace studies, Identity issues, particularly the relationship between majority and minority, populism and democracy, religious radicalism and US studies.
Putu Agung Nara finished his Bachelor Degree and Master Degree at Gadjah Mada University. His research interests include the conflict resolution and peace studies, identity politics, particularly the relationship between majority and minority, populism and democracy, religious radicalism and US studies. He has published many articles in national and international journal. His published articles include Religion in Indonesia’s Elections: An Implementation of a Populist Strategy and Talking to Terrorists: Hostage Release Negotiation with Abu Sayyaf Group in Southern Philippines.

Dr. Aknolt K Pakpahan completed his Doctoral Degree at Technische Universitat Dortmund, Germany. Stanislaus Apresian finished his Bachelor Degree and Master Degree at Gadjah Mada University. He is now completing his Doctoral dissertation at University of Leeds, England. His area of research are climate change, international political economy, ASEAN integration. He has published many articles, including “ASEAN Economic Integration 2015: ASEAN Economic Community and its Problem”.

Dr. Sapta Dwikardana completed his Ph.D in the field of Sociology of Work and Organization at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven-Belgium, with a doctoral thesis entitled “The Political Economy of Development and Industrial Relations in Indonesia under the New Order Government”. He has been working closely with the Government of Indonesia and International Financial Institutions such as Asian Development Bank (ADB) since 2001. The work includes: the project of Asian Development Bank (ADB) Sustainable Capacity Building for Decentralization (SCBD).

Dr. Sylvia Yazid

Dr. Sylvia Yazid finished her doctoral degree at Monash University, Australia with the thesis entitled: “Indonesia’s Civil Society in the Age of Democratization: NGO Responses on the Issue of Labor Migration” 2013. Dr. Yulia Indrawati Sari completed her Doctoral Degree at The Australian National University, with the thesis entitled “The Building of Monuments: Power, Accountability, and Community Driven Development in Papua Province, Indonesia.” She has strong research interests on Participation & community driven development, NGO & CSO, monitoring and evaluations, gender issues, and accountability. She has written many articles, including “Road to Communities, not Commodities: A Qualitative Study of the Consequence of road development in Papua, Indonesia”, “The Dynamics of Green Policies in Papua Land: A Political Economy Study,” and “Sisi Terang Pandemi-COVID-19.”

Dyah Ayunda has strong research, community service, and consultancy service interest specializing in gender studies, migration, international economic and political issues, and environmental sustainability. She has published articles on gender, migration, women’s empowerment and child protection. She is also an active member of the Gender in International Relations Epistemic Community, engaging with a network of scholars to advance knowledge and action on these critical global topics
